Joshua Daniel Luke passed from this life on November 20, 2024, at the age of 36. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Joshua Daniel Luke was born August 1st, 1988, to Mike and Tammy (Moss) Luke. He lived his whole life in Sand Springs, attending Angus Valley Elementary School and graduating from Charles Page High School in 2007.

He played sports all through his childhood, but his favorite was baseball. His dad helped coach him through Little League, and the whole family loved going to the games.

After graduating in 2007, Josh enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served four years, including a year deployed to Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged in 2011.

In December 2008, while stationed in North Carolina, he married his high school sweetheart, Elisa Garcia. They moved back to Sand Springs in 2011. The happiest days of Josh's life were in January 2017 when his son, Jacob, was born and July 2019 when his daughter, Bella, was born. He loved his family with all his heart.

Josh was an amazing son, husband, father, and friend. He had a kind and tender heart and a hilarious sense of humor. He will be missed terribly.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Mike Luke; paternal grandparents, M.I. and Jessie Luke; and maternal grandparents, Clifford "Toby" and Shirley Moss.

Josh leaves behind his beloved wife of 16 years, Elisa, and his precious children, Jacob and Bella. He is also survived by his mother, Tammy Luke, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Josh's life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 30, at Broadway Baptist Church with his uncle, Sgt. Scott Moss, officiating.
