Junior was born on June 5, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to James Clarence Huff and Frances May (Pearman) Huff. He grew up in Sand Springs, and when he was four years old, the family moved to Willow Street, where he spent his childhood. He graduated from Charles Page High School in 1977. As a young man, Junior enjoyed participating in archery shoots and developed a strong work ethic that carried throughout his life.

After high school, Junior began his career at Cooper Manufacturing before transitioning into diesel mechanics. He worked at Kroblin Refrigerated Express, maintaining tractors, semi-trucks, and other large equipment. He later worked with Case Equipment on the agricultural side, servicing tractors and other machinery, and then at Keystone Equipment, specializing in big trucks. Even after retirement, Junior remained hands-on, building two houses and remodeling them with his wife. He loved working with his hands, creating things, and caring for his home and land.

Junior had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables, and tending to his trees. He also crafted unique iron yard art, adding his creativity to his surroundings. Riding motorcycles with his wife brought him joy, and he cherished time spent with family and friends. He was known for his ornery sense of humor, his big heart, and the fun he brought to those around him, especially his nieces and nephews. Junior was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed teasing and playing with his loved ones.

He was a faithful member of Mission Christian Church. His journey with his beloved wife, Connie Marie Kallberg, began on Peoria Avenue in Tulsa, where they met while cruising with friends. They married on July 27, 1982, at the Tulsa Wedding Chapel and shared 42 beautiful years together.

Junior is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his sisters, Dorothy Johnson and partner Steve Smith of Arkansas, and Marie Solomon and husband Keith of Mannford; his cherished nieces and nephews: Jeremiah Johnson and wife Kimberly, Nicholas Johnson and wife Mioto, Natasha Jensen and husband Kacey, John Kallberg and wife, Nicole, Russ Kallberg, Tina Reed and husband, Jason, Kim Christenson and husband Paul, Tyson Kallberg and wife, Sarah, Richard Kallberg, and Kevin Kallberg; and brothers-in-law: Mel Kallberg and Vern Kallberg.
