Leslie Rene Mayfield, affectionately known as "Mimi," passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 50, surrounded by loved ones at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, at the Mobley-Groesbeck Chapel. The service may be viewed live at https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/93015 . Leslie will be laid to rest at Sinnett Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Leslie was born on March 7, 1973, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to her parents, Garry Edgar Mayfield and Pamela Dale (Perry) Foster.

She was a dedicated and hardworking individual, having spent six years in machine parts quality control at Caterpillar. Before that, she had worked at Nordam.

Leslie's life was marked by her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She attended Sand Springs Junior High and proudly graduated from Charles Page High School in 1991. She made the noble choice to be a stay-at-home mom, devoting herself to the well-being and happiness of her children.

Leslie was not only a loving mother and grandmother but also a wonderful cook who could create delicious meals that brought joy to the hearts of those she cared for. She had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures, finding joy in dance parties, observing birds, enjoying hot tubs, and hosting delightful cookouts.

Her spirit was a unique blend of ornery mischief and endearing stubbornness, accompanied by an incredible capacity for love and laughter. Leslie's sense of humor and goofy antics could light up any room, and her warm-hearted nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was a natural caretaker, always putting the needs of others before her own.

Leslie's journey with love began in high school when she met her soulmate, Darrell. Although life took them on separate paths for a time, they reconnected a few years ago, and their love was rekindled.

Leslie Rene Mayfield leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her family find comfort in the beautiful memories they shared with her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Pamela Dale (Perry) Foster, her son, Ethan Flood, and her brother, Trenton Foster.

Leslie is survived by her cherished children: Hope Cavalier, Marissa Horton and partner, Skylar Beetz, and Aubrey Horton; as well as her adored grandchildren: Lola Cavalier, Alaina Cavalier, Creed Cavalier, Azayla Beetz, and Kameron Beetz. Her father, Garry Edgar Mayfield, sisters Hayley Foster and Jacqueline Quinnett, and her fiancé, Darrell Hammock, also mourn her loss.
