Linda Joyce (Brown) Davis, 71 of Sand Springs passed away Sunday April 16 ^th , at Sand Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her bedside.

Linda is in the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral service and honoring Linda's wishes, the family will have memorial services in their hometown of Talihina, OK.

Linda was born on March 3, 1952 in Durant, OK to Kenneth Eugene and Billie Lucille (Whitmore) Brown. After graduating from high school she moved to Arkansas, and began working in a garment factory sewing blue jeans. Linda soon began her long career in nursing homes as a nurse aide. She left that job for a few years working in aircraft upholstering before moving to Talihina, OK and joining a nursing home there, where she worked as an aide and in the kitchen preparing meals. Linda eventually retired from the nursing home as the Dietary Manager.

She loved to sit on the porch at her sister Oneta's home and tell stories to her nephews and great nephews. Linda was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend to everyone.

Surviving Linda's passing are her two sons, Allen Dale Anderson and Benny Lee Anderson; her brother Carl Brown (Zee); her sister, Oneta Denton; three grandchildren, Jasmine, Matthew and Hailey Anderson; great grandson Bentley Anderson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Cleo Brown and a sister, Ruby Young.
