Linda Kaye (Billingsly) House entered her heavenly home to join her beloved husband, Bill, on Friday morning, August 18, 2023, at the age of 80. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 22, at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Linda will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park.

Linda was born December 20, 1942, in Sand Springs to James Branson Billingsly and Katherine Viola (Evans) Billingsly. Linda was raised in the Lake Station area of Tulsa. As a teenager, Linda moved to California to help her brother take care of his children. She met William Loy "Bill" House, and they were united in marriage on September 9, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma. Linda and Bill were always together, and he faithfully kept his promise to always take care of her and to give her the best life possible. They lived freely, the way they wanted, and it worked for them. Their love was a true love, and she never called him, Bill, but always used, "love".

Although Bill was Linda's life, she truly cherished all of her family especially her brothers and sisters. Linda was a faithful Christian and loved the Lord. She was a journalist, frequently writing letters and postcards with special stickers attached to her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Bill, in 2022; her parents; siblings: Clifton James Billingsly, Arlie William Billingsly, Donald Lee Billingsly, Claude Wayne Billingsly, Jerry Allen Billingsly, Rubye Naomi Barker, Wilma Maxine Flanagan, Larry Dennis Billingsly, and Ray Billingsly; and her precious pets: Tiny, Skippy, Brownsack and Jeremiah.

She has left behind many nieces, nephews, friends and family that will miss her dearly.
