Watkins, Lloyd L., age 84, passed away on January 10, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1941, in Porter, Oklahoma, and was a lifelong resident of Sand Springs.

Lloyd was a dedicated insurance agent with Shelter Insurance for many years, where he consistently ranked among the company's top producers. His professional achievements earned him numerous travel opportunities around the world. He also had a lifelong love for working with cattle and horses. In his later years, he enjoyed watching movies, listening to his favorite music, and spending quality time with family. He thought he was a ladies' man and was a character for sure.

He graduated from Charles Page High School in 1959, where he participated in baseball and football. Lloyd married his high school sweetheart, Sharon; although the marriage later ended in divorce after 25 years, they shared many meaningful memories and remained friends.

In his final years, Lloyd found comfort in home-cooked meals prepared by his family, and he especially enjoyed visiting his favorite breakfast restaurant, Braum's.

Lloyd is survived by son Joyl Watkins, daughter Jan Krebs and husband Claude Krebs; grandchildren April Jelinek and fiance Willard Gustafson, Scott Jelinek, Josh Krebs and wife Krystle Krebs, and Megan McDonald; great-grandchildren Jase Jelinek, Kaiden Krebs, Kyle Krebs, Madilyn McDonald, Makenna McDonald, Jonathon McDonald, and Cohen Krebs; sisters Charlotte Comer and Ima Jean Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ester and Beulah Watkins; his son, Jon Mark Watkins; and Sharon Watkins.
