Lynn Eric
London
Jun 20, 1959 — Oct 3, 2021
Weleetka
Lynn Eric "Cadillac" London departed this life on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Hillcrest Hospital South, Tulsa, at the age of 62. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs. Private services were held.
The son of Melvin "Ray" London and Marilyn Annette (Wesley) London was born June 20, 1959, in Tulsa. Growing up in Sand Springs, Lynn played baseball and was nicknamed "Weasel" for his speed around the bases. He graduated with the class of 1977 from Charles Page High School. He would later buy a fancy truck with custom paint, and became known as "Cadillac" to his family and friends. Lynn loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends.
Lynn along with his brother, and dad, would spend the holidays gathering mistletoe and selling it door to door and at Sand Springs stores for 25 cents to earn money for Christmas gifts. Lynn and his dad would later become well known for their roosters, and competed often in cockfighting competitions and refereed these competitions in Kellyville and Ponca City. Together, they also cared for over 50 bee hives and provided honey to many households.
Lynn was as honest as the day is long. He was loved and respected, and a dear friend to many. If he was your friend, he was your friend for life. He will be missed.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his brother, Lloyd London and wife, Vicki of Tulsa; nephews: Dusty London and wife, Mandy, and Brady London and wife, Carlie; and great-nieces: Hannah, Leah, and Avery.
