Mark Harry Hansen, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 64. His life, marked by warmth, laughter, and a deep love for the outdoors, touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Born on June 1, 1959, in Clinton, Iowa to Harry Junior Hansen and Eileen Margaret (Wise) Hansen, Mark's journey traversed various places, from his childhood in Clinton to stints in Tulsa, Wilmington, and finally settling in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where he found his home.

His career journey took him through the oil fields of Texas before he transitioned to crafting boats and later embracing the role of a cook in local restaurants. Mark's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for fishing, hunting, and camping. Yet, his true joy was in sharing these moments with others. Mark's infectious friendliness and penchant for laughter ensured he never met a stranger; his welcoming spirit made gatherings around his backyard barbeques and cookouts memorable occasions for family and friends.

Mark is survived by his son, Mark Allen Hansen, his sister Lisa Hansen, cherished grandson Asa, along with several cousins, extended family members, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Estes Hansen, on January 19, 2020, as well as his parents.
