Mary V. Pope

Mary V. Pope, 84, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on March 21, 1941, in Beggs, Oklahoma, to Samuel and Lucille.

A proud graduate of Beggs High School, Mary went on to have a distinguished career, retiring as Vice President of the Human Resources Department at Bank of Oklahoma.

Mary found joy in the simple things—she loved working in her yard, keeping her home spotless, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a proud member of the Elks Lodge and the Akdar Shriners, contributing to her community throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lucille; her husband, Glenn Pope; three sisters; and one brother.

Mary is survived by her two sons, Rusty and Michael; her sister, Linda Spring; two grandsons, two granddaughters, and ten great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
