Maxine Ann (Gleeson) Cody, 83 of Skiatook passed away, in Tulsa, OK with her family by her bedside.

Services for Maxine are in the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, OK.

Maxine was born on August 7, 1938 in Wichita, KS to Edward Leo and Edna Maxine (Johnson) Gleeson.  She married Tommy Elmer Cody on April 3, 1954 in Newton, KS, making their home in Wichita.  They moved to Tulsa in 1972.

Maxine enjoyed knitting, playing cards, watching the birds, doing puzzles, playing the piano and organ and she loved going to the lake and the casino.

Survivors include her husband of almost 68 years, Tom; her son, Timothy Ray Cody; daughter Patricia Harper (Jerry); brother, Edward Leo Gleeson (Phyllis); two sisters, Mary Pickard (Roger), Eileen Schwind; eight grandchildren, Misty Cody, Matthew Cody (April), Timmy Cody (Misty), Trey Harper (Johnna), Tony Harper (Amanda), Thomas Cody (Tylynn), Jessica Cody, Ryan Cody; 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Edward Cody; grandson, Patrick Harper; brothers, Bill, Johny and Mike Gleeson; sister, Kathleen Leeper; and her daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Cody.

Visitations will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service beginning on Wednesday  March 30, 2022 at 12 noon til 8:00 p.m.; Thursday the 31 ^st from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends between the hours of 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with her grandson Trey Harper officiating.

Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory cemetery in Wichita, KS.
