May Dover, Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, April 5, 2022. She was 100 years old. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Graveside services for May will be Thursday, April 7, 2022, 3:00pm, at the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Rev. Gary Dunn will officiate.

May was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, on May 1, 1921, to Andrew Anderson and Hattie (Lewis) Anderson. Following her graduation from High School, May married her best friend, Leo Dover. She was a genuine homemaker. If she had a hobby, it would have to be cooking. May could bake the best Strawberry and Custard pies. They were always ready for the family holiday celebrations. She enjoyed the visits from all her friends. May liked watching TV preachers and listening to Gospel music. She was a regular at the Senior Citizens for many years. Later in life, May enjoyed playing Bingo. Her favorite above all was the times she got to spend with her family. They were so precious to her. May's big smile and wonderful attitude will be missed by both family and friends.

May was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Hattie Anderson; husband Leo Dover; brother Bennett Anderson; and sister Linda Battles.

She is survived by her nieces Barbara Scott and Debbie Reynolds and nephew Jimmy Battles; other relatives and many friends.
