Michael Gene Butler, born on July 30, 1963, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2024, at the age of 61.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 5th at 2:00 PM in the Jim Groesbeck Memorial Chapel.

He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Randi and Kaitlyn Butler; his stepson, Kyle Devers; his stepdaughter, Megan Perkins and husband, Seth; his cherished granddaughter, Adelyn Perkins; his devoted wife, Kimberly Butler; and his brother, Scott Butler. Michael made his home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he built a life full of love and memories.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Dema Butler; and his brother, David Butler.

Michael's professional life was deeply intertwined with his passion for helping others, most notably through his work with the Tulsa Area United Way. His commitment to bettering his community was a cornerstone of his character, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy of service and compassion.

A proud graduate with a Master of Science in Management degree, Michael was a lifelong learner who approached both his career and personal life with dedication and thoughtfulness. He had an enduring love for the classic films of John Wayne, often watching his favorite Westerns with a smile, finding inspiration in the strong, unwavering characters.
