Michael Ray Kaiser
August 3, 1947 – September 7, 2026
Michael Ray Kaiser, 79, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026.
His love, humor, hard work, and steady presence created countless memories that will continue to be cherished.
Mike was born on August 3, 1947, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Margaret Kaiser. As the oldest of nine children, he grew up surrounded by family and developed the strong sense of love, loyalty, and responsibility that would remain a defining part of his life. On February 6, 1971, Mike married the love of his life, Linda Joyce Hise. Together, they shared 55 years of marriage, raised three daughters, and built a beautiful life and home in Sand Springs. Their family was the center of Mike’s world, and he took great pride in the life they created together.
Mike was a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he earned his engineering degree. While attending college, he worked his way through school at his Uncle Rooster’s DX gas station. That experience reflected the strong work ethic, determination, and perseverance that Mike carried with him throughout his life. After graduating, he built a successful and fulfilling career in the oil and gas industry. Mike enjoyed many things in life, but his greatest joys were found in the people and activities he loved. He had a deep appreciation for music and was a proud Oklahoma State Cowboys fan. Golf was his favorite pastime, and over the years he enjoyed playing in numerous tournaments and sharing the game with friends and family. Above all, Mike treasured his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His love, humor, hard work, and steady presence created countless memories that will continue to be cherished by those who knew him.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his daughters, Julie Bethell of Jenks, Oklahoma; Heather Kaiser and son-in-law Steve Tharp of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and Katie Dodd and son-in-law Rocky Micheal of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; his sister, Vicki Thrash and husband Wayne of Ochelata, Oklahoma; his brother, Anthony Kaiser of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and his six grandchildren, Drew Bethell, Aiden Dodd, Forrest Tharp, Luke Tharp, Romeo Micheal, and Brooklyn Micheal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Kaiser; his brothers, Joseph Kaiser, Bill Kaiser, Pat Kaiser, Gerry Kaiser, and John Kaiser; and his sister, Mary McCulley.
Above all, Mike treasured his family.
Mike leaves behind a lifetime of memories, a loving family, and the many people whose lives he touched along the way. His legacy lives on through his wife, daughters, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends who were fortunate enough to share his life.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and lovingly remembered.
