Michael Karl "Mike" Weiser went to his heavenly home on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the age of 73. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

The son of Donald Karl Weiser and Pauline (Young) Weiser was born October 5, 1948, in Ames, IA. He grew up in Ames and graduated high school in 1966. Mike continued his education at Iowa State University, before volunteering to serve in the U.S. Army. He proudly served our country during the Vietnam War. He returned to Ottumwa, IA, and took computer science classes at Indian Hills Community College.

Mike married Annabelle Walterman in Bloomfield, Iowa. He adopted Annabelle's two children, and they were blessed with two more. The family moved to Plano, TX, in 1973, and in 1977, moved to Owasso where they raised their children. Mike was the owner of Crossroads Cleaning in Owasso, and later worked with his son, Benjamin, in the business. In his later years, Mike, was a pilot car driver for several years.

Mike made sure his kids knew God. He was a founding member of Faith Lutheran Church in Owasso and enjoyed singing in the church choir. His daughter, Laura, often joined him. Mike also performed Handel's Messiah, yearly with the Tulsa area Lutheran churches.

It cannot be stated strong enough that Mike was an avid Cardinal fan. He kept up with every move the Cardinal's made; and was such a frequent caller on the Sports Animal show, he was known as "Cardinal Mike" by all.

Mike was a family man. He was always sweet, gentle, and kind; and would do anything for his family. Mike was known to open his home to many other kids over the years and bring them into his fold. Every Saturday was spent on the soccer field. He coached the kid's teams when they were little and refereed as much as he could to help out the league. The family also enjoyed many camping trips together; and he later treasured trips to the White River, fishing with his son, Myles.

Mike is survived by his children: Errick B. Weiser and wife, Jennifer of Amherst, WI, Myles Kent Weiser and wife, Nicole of Collinsville, Laura Marie Weiser of Sand Springs, and Benjamin Karl Weiser of Collinsville; his children's mother, Annabelle Weiser of Sand Springs; sisters: Donna Akins and husband, Bob of Englewood, OH, and Elizabeth "Beth" Weiser of Ames, IA; grandchildren: Jamie Weiser, Slate Weiser, Seth Weiser, Gentry Weiser, Jaden Weiser, Micayla Weiser, Catherine Weiser, and Ashleigh Weiser; and great-grandchild, Cassius Weiser.
