Mike
Blewett
Nov 14, 1955 — May 12, 2026
Sand Springs
Michael Charles Blewett, lovingly known by many as "Rabbi Mikey" entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Sand Springs Nursing Home at the age of 70. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Mike was born on November 14, 1955, in Richmond, New York, to Allen Blewett and Olive (Carpenter) Blewett. Throughout his life, Mike was known for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and deep love for people and animals alike.
Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked in transportation as a material handler and truck driver. He spent many years working for Conway and with XPO, building lasting friendships everywhere he went. Over the years, Mike called many places home, including Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Rockledge, Florida; Terlton, Oklahoma; and New Hampshire.
A Messianic Jew, Mike's faith was the foundation of his life. He had an Unyielding Determination to "Remain Faithful to the Lord with Steadfast Purpose." (Acts 11:23) To Dare Greatly and Live Wholeheartedly for Christ Jesus! His favorite Hebrew word was 'Shama': to hear, to listen, and obey. Truly our only daily task in living out one's life. He never hesitated to stop what he was doing to offer prayer, encouragement, and comfort to those around him.
Mike had a special love for animals and always had a loyal dog by his side. He especially enjoyed spending hours walking the trails at TCCC with his dogs, finding peace and joy in nature and companionship.
Above all, Mike cherished his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Sarah, Samantha and husband Soloman, Andrew, and Alan; his beloved grandchild, Soloman Hans; his best friend, Albert; and many other dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and faith.
Mike will be remembered for his compassionate spirit, his willingness to pray with anyone in need, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
