Morris "Jack" Wayne Lee, 87, of Sand Springs, passed away on Friday November 12, 2021 at home, with his loved ones at his bedside.

Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service has been entrusted by his family to care for him and his services.

Jack was born on August 29, 1934 to Morris Winchester and Mertie Lee (Cox) Lee in Linden, TX.  Jack joined the US Army after high school.  He married Jackie Marie Allen on September 1, 1956 in New Boston, Tx.  They moved to Oklahoma in 1957 where he began working as a welder for National Tank/CE NATCO until retirement.  Jack and Jackie were members of the Baptist Faith serving at the First Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church over the years.  Jack was a devoted husband, father and Papa, who cherished his grandchildren, being the first one to make all of his grandchildren laugh out loud.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jackie; two sisters, Ann Butts and Mary Womack; a son, Gregory and daughter-in-law Tammi; two daughters, Cindy Crews and son-in-law Jim Crews, Melissa Powell and significant other DeWayne Barnes; 13 grandchildren, Cheryl and husband Miguel, Barbara and fiancé Walt, Tonya and significant other Dallas Smith, Jimmy and wife Yessica, Christine, Chance, Parks, Lalanie, Jaxs, Josie, Sean, Genevieve, Lila; 8 great grandchildren, Bradley and wife, Invyi, David, Austin, Zachary, Hunter, Clint, Perry, Chandler; and one great-great granddaughter, Princess Nova.

Jack enjoyed spending much of his time with his furry friend, Peanut, who would often be seen occupying one-half of Jack's recliner.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date, in the Spring of 2022.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Jack Lee.
