She grew up in the Mannford area and graduated from Mannford High School in 1954. After high school, she began her career at Atlas Life before moving on to work at Skelly and then Sun Oil Company. Throughout her life, Naomi worked in the accounting department and retired in 1991 at the age of 55.

They settled in Sand Springs in 1962, building a life filled with faith, family, and community.
A devoted member of Broadway Baptist Church, Naomi was active in the Women's Missionary Union (WMU), the Sand Springs Garden Club, and the Keenagers group at her church. She visited shut-in church members, sharing ministry tapes, and served as the secretary for her Sunday school class.
Naomi had a passion for reading, especially books by her favorite author, Nicholas Sparks. She was also an avid crafter who enjoyed macramé, gold leaf projects, and painting. Naomi was known for her kindness, soft-spoken nature, and the love she extended to those around her.
