Patrice Jeanine (Bouyear) Mellette age 71 passed away on July 5,2022 in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Mrs. Mellette was born in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to James and Beverly Bouyear on January 16, 1951. She graduated from Eureka Springs, Arkansas and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Education at the University of Arkansas. She worked as an elementary teacher in Arkansas before settling in Sand Springs where she taught for a number of years before her retirement. Mrs. Mellette was a National Board-certified teacher and twice received the honor of Teacher of the Year for her school.  Mrs. Mellette is survived by husband, Dave Mellette, and a host of family and friends.  Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Family conducted memorial service to be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday July 9, 2022, First Baptist Church of Prue Oklahoma with Brother Garry McDevitt officiating.  Service arrangements are entrusted to the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
