Paul Preston Ensminger passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 23, 2026, and is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Paul was born in Owensboro, KY, on October 10, 1988. In 1995, he moved with his parents and brothers to Sand Springs, OK, where he spent the rest of his life. He is survived by his parents, David and Joy Ensminger; his twin brothers, Kyle and Elliott; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Lorraine Ensminger and Chalmer and Gladys Embry, as well as his Uncle Phil Embry, Uncle Carl Ensminger, and Aunt Holly Ensminger.

Paul had a wonderfully dry sense of humor and a gentle, considerate spirit. He was kindhearted, loved his family deeply, and had a soft spot for the family's cats and dogs. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking and camping—often with the Boy Scouts and on trips to Colorado and Arkansas with his dad. He was working toward completing the Ozark Highlands Trail and had summited many 13,000- and 14,000-foot peaks in Colorado. He also loved skiing and cherished the many trips he took with family and close friends.

Paul began his Scouting journey in Tiger Cubs and Cub Scouts before joining Boy Scout Troop 101, where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout—an accomplishment he was very proud of. He worked as a machinist and was certified in CNC lathe and mill operations and setup.

Paul enjoyed watching Thunder basketball games, and he always cherished trips to Oklahoma City with family and close friends to watch them play. He found joy in playing disc golf, practicing guitar, and spending time in the garage working on projects with his brothers. He enjoyed video games, model trains, was an enthusiastic reader, and a formidable chess player. He also treasured late-night Bible study and long conversations with his mom, with whom he shared a special bond.

Paul attended Anderson Elementary School, Dove Science Academy, and graduated from Charles Page High School. He was a member of First Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK. Paul always said that Oklahoma was his home, and he will be laid to rest in the community he loved.
