Richard (Eric) Rule Jr. passed away on August 13, 2022. Eric was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 3, 1983, to Linda Jones Rule and Richard Eric Rule Sr.

Eric lived and attended primary and middle school in Tulsa, OK and graduated from New Covenant Christian Academy High School in Broken Arrow, OK, class of 2002. He attended Tulsa Community College and Rogers State University and later moved to Houston, TX where he graduated from the Horn School of Drafting and Design while employed by Starbucks Coffee Co.

In Houston, TX he was employed by Hodco Enterprises, and Willbros Engineering. Eric then transferred to Oklahoma City, OK working for Access Midstream/Williams Companies. He later moved to Tulsa, OK where he was employed by Williams Partners and The Rule Company.

Eric was a talented artist and loved to draw and paint. He was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and writing. Eric was a loyal friend who always made time to help his family. He loved animals and helping those less fortunate.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother Linda Jones Rule, his maternal grandparents William 'Buck' and Louisa Jones, and his paternal grandparents, Shirley and Vance Rule.

He is survived by his parents, Richard Eric Rule Sr., and Amy Rule (Tulsa, OK), his grandmother Elizabeth Rule (Bartlesville, OK), his siblings, Heather Muldoon and husband Shawn (Houston, TX), Claire Isabella Rule (Tulsa, OK), Christopher Correll (Durango, CO), Ryan Rule (Tulsa, OK) and Alec Rule (Tulsa, OK) as well as his nephew Tommy Muldoon and his niece Kylie Muldoon (Houston, TX) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held with his family and friends at the Mobley/Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 29, 2022, at 10am (211 East Broadway, Sand Springs, OK). A luncheon/celebration of life will continue immediately following the ceremony at 2426 Terwilleger Blvd., Tulsa, OK.

Eric will be laid to rest at the Oak Hill Cemetery, 1130 Highway 48, Mannford, OK 74044.
