Richard Wayne "Rick" Adams, lovingly known as "Ricky" to his family growing up, entered his heavenly home on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 64. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Rick was born on October 1, 1961, in Checotah to George William Adams and Mona Jean (Gaines) Adams. He grew up in Sand Springs and graduated from Charles Page High School. In later years, he made his home in Collinsville with his sister, Patricia.

Rick was a faithful member of First Assembly of God in Collinsville, where his church family and the relationships he built there meant the world to him. Church was not just a place he attended—it was a central part of his life and a source of strength, fellowship, and joy.

Despite facing physical challenges, Rick never gave up. He worked hard, persevered through difficulties, and faced life with determination and grit. He was truly a fighter. Those who knew Rick remember him as hardworking, sweet-natured, and genuinely funny, with a warm spirit that left a lasting impression.

Rick loved sports and could often be found watching baseball or football. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and OU Sooners fan and enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mona Adams; his sister, Twila Davis; and his brother, Bobbie Adams. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Adams of Collinsville, along with several extended family members who will cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 19, at First Assembly of God of Collinsville, with Pastor Jeff Bradley officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Viewing will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs on Thursday from 12 to 8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Rick's life was marked by perseverance, faith, and love, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
