Robin was born on October 13, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George Barrows and Delores Ann (Wiley) Cottman. She was raised in Tulsa, where she developed her love for the outdoors—fishing, camping, and enjoying nature were lifelong passions. Those who knew her best knew how much peace she found on camping trips with her family to their special "spot." These trips became treasured traditions that brought her family closer together and created countless cherished memories.

A proud and determined woman, Robin worked as a millwright, a demanding and highly skilled profession that took her across the country. She took great pride in her work—tearing down and rebuilding machines with grit and precision. Her strong work ethic and resilience earned her the respect of her peers.

Robin was deeply devoted to her family. She was known as "Aunt Robin" to many and more recently "Grandma Robin" to everyone. She adored her children and grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. Her heart was as big as her smile—caring, generous, and full of love. She was the kind of friend who would give you the shirt off her back, even if you didn't deserve it. Her kindness and trust extended even to those who had wronged her.

She had a soft spot for animals and doted on her beloved dogs—Karma, Moo, Gizmo, and Freckles—whom she affectionately called her babies. Robin also had a deep affection for the color purple and butterflies, symbols that reflected her vibrant spirit and enduring hope.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Terry Cottman, who lovingly helped raise her; and her siblings: Dean, Johnny, Lori, and Billy Barrows.

She is survived by her children: Lacey Rodriguez and Adam Barrows; her brother, Bobby Barrows; her grandchildren: Brianna Hernandez and husband, Ever, Jaciento "Hass" Rodriguez, and Eriq Rodriguez; her great-grandchildren: Lluvia and Danitza Hernandez-Rodriguez, with another precious great-grandchild on the way; her dear cousin Rick Juarez, who was like a little brother to her; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her deeply.

Robin lived her life boldly, loved fiercely, and gave selflessly. Her memory will forever flutter in the hearts of those she touched—like the butterflies she adored.
