Roger Keith Jones passed peacefully from this life on January 12, 2026, at the age of 68.

Roger was born on July 11, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to John and Elsie Jones. He attended Sand Springs schools and proudly graduated from Charles Page High School in 1976.

Known affectionately as "Roger Dodger," he was an extremely loving and generous soul. He gave freely of himself and would truly give a stranger the shirt off his back. Roger had a deep love for music—especially Elvis—and delighted in collecting old radios, figurines, and all things eclectic. A passionate collector at heart, he found joy and meaning in the unique and nostalgic.

Roger worked for McDonnell Douglas in facilities maintenance, a job he took great pride in. His strong work ethic and sense of responsibility were evident to all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Roger was lovingly and faithfully cared for by his mother, until her passing last summer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Jones.

He is survived by his special friends and caregivers, Susan Fender and Jeannie Goodman, who were deeply grateful and blessed to have known him. They shared that knowing Roger made them better people and that he greatly enriched their lives.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mobley Groesbeck Funeral Home in Sand Springs. Burial services will be private.

Roger will be remembered for his gentle spirit, generous heart, and the lasting impression he left on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
