Rosemary
Perry
Mar 2, 1931 — Mar 6, 2025
Sand Springs
Rosemary "Rosie" Perry entered her heavenly home on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
A funeral service celebrating Rosemary's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at the Jim Groesbeck Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Viewing will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Rosemary was born on March 2, 1931, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Dan and Lenoise (Keeling) Robertson. On June 6, 1947, she married the love of her life, Joe Merl Perry, in Sand Springs. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised their children in Sand Springs, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and faith.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Rosemary retired from Oral Roberts University, where she worked as a supervisor in mailing and shipping. Outside of work, she was a devoted member of First Assembly of God in Sand Springs, where she played an active role in the church community. She volunteered selflessly, cooking for funeral dinners, teaching Sunday School, and preparing donuts, fried pies, and cakes every Friday for the Women's Church Mission. If the church doors were open, Rosemary was there—faithful and steadfast in her service.
Rosemary found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved fishing and camping with her family, baking delicious cakes, and celebrating Christmas, which was her favorite time of year. She and Joe shared countless cherished memories with their dear friends Teen and Herman Boyd and Verbal and Joy Caviness—whether it was traveling with the church, woodworking, or enjoying trips to Branson. Family was at the center of Rosemary's heart, and she delighted in attending her grandsons' sports activities, cheering them on every step of the way.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Perry (2007); her parents; and sons-in-law, Troy McKinney and Arnold Peterman.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion, carried on by her children: Cheryl Peterman of North Carolina, Charlotte McKinney of Tulsa, Ron Perry and wife, Carroll of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Luttrell of Jenks; her cherished grandchildren: Jeff Peterman, Greg Peterman, Jeremy McKinney, Matt McKinney, Jason Perry, and Jarred Perry; and her adored great-grandchildren: Alyssa Perry, Jacey Perry, Braden Perry, Madux Perry, Dakota Perry, Jaxon Perry, and Colin Peterman. She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friend, Teen Boyd.
Rosemary's unwavering faith, kindness, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was a testament to devotion, service, and the joy of togetherness.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23
