Rosie Lee Stoner, age 87, passed from this life on Thursday, August 19, 2021, in Tulsa.

A celebration of life service will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., August 25, 2021, at Mobley-Groesbeck Chapel with Sister Debra Allen officiating.  Rosie will be laid to rest at Zena Cemetery in Zena, Oklahoma near Jay. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Rosie was born on November 1, 1933, in Zena, Oklahoma to Roy and Juna (Praytor) Kelly. She graduated from Jay High School and later attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and received her bachelor's degree. Rosie married Delbert Stoner on November 26, 1956 in Zena and began her teaching career at Prue High School where she taught for over twenty-six years before retiring in 1994. Delbert passed away in 1986. Rosie enjoyed Sewing, Cooking, Gardening and especially loved her family. She was a past member of the Beta Sigma Phi and Quota International.

She is survived by daughters, Malea Stoner of Tulsa, Debra Waldo Allen of Tulsa, a son, Eric Stoner and wife Tracy of Tulsa, one granddaughter, Caroline Stoner of Tulsa and several other nieces, nephews and other family members.
