Ruth Naomi (Wiegand) Chapman, 87 of Mannford, passed away Saturday June 4, 2022 in Drumright.

Ruth's services are in the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service.

She was born on January 29, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to Clarence and Grace (Mayes) Wiegand.  Ruth married S. Daryl Larson and had two sons, Dan Phillip and Daryl "Lee" Larson.  She and Daryl divorced in 1976.

Ruth married Ivan Chapman in 1977 and were together for 20 years, until Ivan's passing on December 31, 1997.

Ruth moved to Joplin, MO and lived there for 20 years, until her health started to fail and she moved back to Oklahoma in 2020.

Ruth is survived by her sons and their spouses; Dan and Phyllis Larson of Edmond, OK and Lee and Denise Larson of Cushing, OK; one granddaughter, Brittany Larson of Stillwater, OK; one grandson, Will Jones of Jenks, OK; step-grandchildren, Lori Munger, Amy Davidson, Niki Milacek, Joshua Arnett, Zachary Arnett; many great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She is also survived by two sisters, Lois Going of TN and Becky Dickerson of MO and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother and father, one sister, Joanne; one brother, Jonathan, her husband Ivan Chapman and S. Daryl Larson.

Funeral services will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Chapel on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Fred Waldrep officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery Mannford, OK.
