Sergio Ubaldo Carrazco entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the age of 59. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11.

Sergio was born on April 6, 1966, in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Eva Carrazco. He was raised in Calaya, Guanajuato, where he learned the values of hard work, family, and faith that guided him throughout his life. He began his career as a carpenter in Mexico, later moving to the United States 11 years ago, and settling in Oklahoma 8 years ago. In recent years, he worked at several local restaurants, including El Patrón and Church's, where his passion for cooking and serving others shined.

Sergio loved to make food—especially spicy food—and was happiest with a cup of coffee in hand. His joy for life was expressed through his love for music, particularly 1980s rock and roll. Some of his favorite bands included the Gipsy Kings and Pink Floyd. Sergio also enjoyed tending to his plants, fixing things as a talented handyman, and finding humor in everyday life. He had a great sense of humor, even on difficult days, and always knew how to make others smile.

A devoted and practicing Catholic, Sergio attended St. Francis Catholic Church in Tulsa. It was through a church friend that he met Martina Hernandez, who became his beloved partner. They shared a deep and loving relationship for the past eight years.

Sergio was a caring and loving father, partner, son, brother, and friend. He was hardworking, kind, and funny—known for bringing laughter wherever he went. His warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, also named Sergio.

Sergio is survived by his partner, Martina Hernandez; his children, Perla Carrazco and husband, Miguel Navarrete, and Sergio Carrazco; his mother, Eva Carrazco; his siblings: Cesear Carrazco and wife, Maria Eugenia, Anastasio Ortiz, Jamie Ortiz and wife, Melissa Ortiz, Lourdes Ortiz, and Laticia Ortiz. He is also survived by extended family members: Luis Amaya and Maria Acosta, and Juana Cruz.

Sergio's life was a beautiful blend of hard work, humor, faith, and love. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
