Shanell's love for others, her laughter, her protective heart, and her appreciation for the beauty of nature will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Shanell Elizabeth Blevins entered her heavenly home on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the age of 44. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Shanell was born on May 19, 1982, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Curtis Dale Blevins and Mary Katherine Parker. She grew up in Sand Springs and graduated from Charles Page High School in 2000. Later, she lived in Kansas, where she welcomed her beloved daughter, Mary Addison. In August 2007, Shanell welcomed her daughter, Kambi Nicole Tyler, who brought another special joy to her life.

Throughout her life, Shanell held several different jobs, but her favorite role was being a caretaker. She had a natural gift for caring for others and found great joy in helping those around her. Her loving and protective nature made her someone people could count on, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Shanell had a zest for life and enjoyed the simple things that brought her happiness. She loved being outdoors and spending time in nature, especially watching eagles and birds. She enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts, with Shinedown being her favorite group. She also loved getting her nails painted and always enjoyed finding little ways to make life special.

Those who knew Shanell will remember her as loving, outgoing, protective, funny, and kind. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a personality that could light up a room. Her brother Drew would fondly say that one of Shanell’s favorite activities was pestering her little brother—a memory that captures the playful and mischievous spirit he will always remember.

Shanell is survived by her father, Curtis Blevins and his wife, Alice, and her mother, Mary Parker; her daughters: Mary Addison Dutton, and her fiancé, David Small, and Kambi Nicole Tyler; her brother, Drew Blevins; sisters: Kyndal Fowler, Ashley McBrain, and Lyndsi Stiverson; her grandson, Parker James Small; nephews: Eli Fowler, Max Fowler, and Summit McBrain; and nieces: Reese McBrain and Olivia Blevins. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Shanell's love for others, her laughter, her protective heart, and her appreciation for the beauty of nature will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort knowing that she is now at peace in her heavenly home.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 18, from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
