She was born on December 11, 1971, at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to John Wayne Anderson and Katherine Raber.
Sheila grew up in Tulsa, Inola, and Arizona. She graduated from Inola High School with the Class of 1990. Later in life, she met the love of her life, Brian Scott Odom, through a mutual friend. The couple was married on January 23, 1999, in a wedding chapel in Arizona and shared many happy years together filled with love, laughter, and family.
A devoted homemaker, Sheila dedicated her life to caring for those she loved most. Although she worked for a short time in collections, her greatest joy came from creating a warm and loving home for her family. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and ever-present smile. Fun-loving and good-natured, Sheila brought happiness to those around her and had a special gift for making others feel welcome.
Sheila was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and expressing her creativity. She also loved traveling with her family, especially their trips to Branson, and enjoyed getting away on outings together. An avid fan of 1980s music, she found joy in the songs that brought back treasured memories.
One of Sheila’s greatest passions was her love for cats. She cared deeply for animals and faithfully fed the neighborhood stray cats. Her husband, Brian, has lovingly continued that tradition in her honor.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, John Wayne Anderson.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Scott Odom; her children, Brenton Dale Guinn, Tyler Ryan Odom, and Jonathan Brian Odom; her cherished grandchildren: Evangline, River, Lylee, and Jayden; her mother, Katherine Raber; her brothers, Tommy Anderson and Charlie Anderson; and her stepmother, Linda Anderson. She also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and neighbors who will miss her dearly.
Sheila will be remembered for her loving heart, her artistic spirit, her compassion for animals, and the joy she brought to her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
