Sheral
Wallace
Sep 12, 1950 — Sep 8, 2026
Sand Springs
Sheral met Floyd Wallace when they were young, beginning a love story that would span more than five decades.
Sheral Wallace passed from this life on September 8, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born September 12, 1950, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Bob and Mary Mahan. Sheral spent her early years in Sand Springs, a community that would remain home throughout much of her life.
Sheral met Floyd Wallace when they were young, beginning a love story that would span more than five decades. They were married on November 26, 1968, in Neosho, Missouri, and shared 54 years of marriage before Floyd's passing in 2023. Together, they raised their two daughters, Misti Gail and Kristi Jean, and built a life in Sand Springs centered around family.
Sheral was a talented hairdresser and worked for many years at Scissors. Her warm personality and genuine kindness made her well suited for her work, and she enjoyed the friendships she made throughout her years behind the chair.
Kind, sweet, and giving, Sheral found great happiness in taking care of the people she loved. When her daughters were young, she was very active in their lives and often served as the homeroom mother at school. Years later, she continued that same involvement with her grandchildren participating in their activities, school events, and trips.
Becoming a NaNa brought Sheral tremendous joy.
Becoming a NaNa brought Sheral tremendous joy. Lexi, Lane, and Cloe were a special part of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them. Sheral and Floyd's home became affectionately known as the "No Rules House" whenever the grandkids came to visit—a place where they knew Nana and Papa were likely to say yes and where countless family memories were made.
Sheral enjoyed traveling and especially loved cruises and trips to Colorado and Hawaii. She enjoyed going to the casino and, in her younger years, playing softball, bowling, fishing, and Bunco. Traveling was something she and Floyd enjoyed throughout their years together, and those trips became another source of treasured family memories.
Some of the things that made Sheral special were found in the simple, everyday details of life. She loved biscuits and chocolate gravy and was known for her famous homemade tacos. Sheral was also a talented baker and made many wedding and birthday cakes for family, friends, and others throughout the years. She was known for her exceptionally beautiful handwriting, something her family will always remember about her.
Sheral is survived by her daughters, Kristi Patterson and husband Randall, and Misti Wallace; sister, Mary Gail Wallace; brother, Bobby Mahan and wife Janet; brothers-in-law, Glenn Harden and fiancée Pam Minton, and Larry Davis; grandchildren, Lexi Battise and husband Glenn, Lane Cannon and Lexi Earls, and Cloe Logsdon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
The love she gave so freely will remain with her family for generations to come.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mary Mahan, and her beloved husband, Floyd Wallace.
Sheral will be remembered as a devoted mother and NaNa, a talented hairdresser, and a kind and generous woman who loved her family deeply. Her greatest legacy can be found in the family she cared for so faithfully, the grandchildren she happily spoiled, and a lifetime of memories made alongside Floyd. Whether she was making a favorite meal, joining in a school activity, planning a trip, or welcoming the grandkids to the "No Rules House," Sheral had a way of making time spent together special. The love she gave so freely will remain with her family for generations to come.
