Teresa Kay Vaughn entered her heavenly home on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the age of 71. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Teresa was born on April 5, 1953, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa to Hershel Herman Goodwin and Mary Kathren (Conn) Willis. She grew up in Sand Springs and graduated from Charles Page High School in 1971. It was in Spanish class where she met Leo Grover "Chuck" Vaughn, Jr.; she was a sophomore, and he was a senior. Her father allowed her to go on her first date with Chuck a week before her 16th birthday. Their love blossomed, and they were married on July 4, 1970, at Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs. While Chuck completed his military service, Teresa remained home and finished high school. They built their life together in Sand Springs, raising their beloved daughters, Adrienne and Allison.

Teresa worked as a teller at First National Bank on and off for about ten years. However, her greatest joy came from being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loving, giving, and nurturing—a precious soul who encouraged those around her. She was a wonderful cook and she loved to always change up and alter recipes. Teresa and Chuck always had fun together, and she looked forward to their TV date nights. She had a deep love for red cardinals and found immense happiness in her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Grammy" and "GeeGee." They were the light of her life. Known for her beauty inside and out, Teresa had a witty sense of humor that brought joy to those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Susan Dianne Yerton. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Chuck; her daughters: Adrienne Nicole Vaughn of Sand Springs, and Allison Leigh Hardgrave and husband, Aaron, of Tulsa; and her cherished grandchildren: Emma Kathren Peak, Jackson Frank Peak, and James Traynor Hardgrave.

Teresa's love, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
