Terri Genea
Boehm
Aug 18, 1960 — Sep 13, 2024
Sand Springs
Terri Genea Boehm, born on August 18, 1960, in Sentinel, OK, to Larry and Sue Farris, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2024, in Sand Springs, OK. She was the oldest of three siblings and spent her early years in Western Oklahoma before moving to Enid as a teenager, where she built a beautiful life in Northwest Oklahoma.
In Enid, Terri met the love of her life, Delbert Boehm, and they married on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1983. Together, they raised two children, Cara and Gage, who were their pride and joy, in the Nash/Jet area.
Terri worked for many years as a dental assistant with Dr. Durr in Enid before retiring. In 2020, she moved to Jenks, OK, to live with her daughter Cara, son-in-law Nick, and granddaughter Daydn, creating cherished memories. Terri had a passion for gardening, turning their flower beds into a beautiful oasis. She also loved to bake, always coming up with new cookie recipes for her family to enjoy.
Just six months ago, Terri moved into her own apartment in Sand Springs, where she made many friends and filled her home with plants. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of fall, her favorite season, before she was called home. Terri loved her family deeply, and her love for them shone through in every part of her life.
Terri was a vibrant, generous, and caring person. Despite the challenges she faced, including being in a wheelchair in the later part of her life, she never let anything stop her from living life to the fullest. She loved OU football, butterflies, and especially Christmas, when she would gather with her entire family for festive celebrations. Terri's creativity, humor, and witty spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Terri is reunited in death with her husband, Delbert Boehm; her son, Gage Boehm; and her father, Larry Farris.
She is survived by her daughter, Cara (Boehm) Cash, and husband, Nick, of Jenks, OK; her granddaughter, Daydn Martin of Jenks, OK; and her grandson, Jayson Boehm of Ringwood, OK. She also leaves behind her mother, Susan Farris, of Mustang, OK; her sister, Misty Clifton, and husband, Ken, of Oklahoma City; her brother, Chris Farris, and wife, Denise, of Oklahoma City; as well as her nephews Kyle Clifton (Tulsa, OK), Garrett Clifton (Oklahoma City), Jordan Farris (Oklahoma City); and niece, Mariah Farris (Oklahoma City). Terri is also survived by her sister Clarece and her family from Claremore, OK, from her father's second marriage.
Terri's memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, October 4th, at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, 211 East Broadway, Sand Springs, OK 74063. Leave your memories of Terri and view her tribute online at www.mogro.co
