Timothy John Short was born December 24, 1957, to Roger and Hazel Short in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He went to be with his Lord March 25, 2025, at 6:45 P.M. in Glenpool, OK, at the Glenwood Nursing Home, with his sister Kathie by his side, after his siblings and long-time friend Seth Washburne had been able to say goodbye.

Tim had an amazing life, including being a professional drummer for several bands. One of these bands, Short Circuit, was made up of Tim and his brothers Glen and Wayne. He was known for his loving spirit, his strong friendship and devotion to family, how he always had a joke and a smile, and his reliance on Jesus Christ. Tim was a member of Gideons International, had a gentle spirit, and was talented, kindhearted and fun loving. His last days were spent at Glenwood Nursing Home, where he was well cared for by the staff and hospice nurse Todd.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, Roger Short, mother Hazel Short, wife Mary Kay Short, and sisters-in-law Marsha and Marcella Short. He is survived by brothers Wayne, Bruce, and Glen Short; sisters Carol Alcorn and Kathie Rudd; sisters-in-law Diane and Kim Short; brother-in-law Lonnie Rudd; long-time friends Seth and Pete Washburne, Ellie Talbert and Dennis Wholtman; many nieces and nephews; and three children, Dustin, Sarah, and TJ.
