Mercer Tony Kelso was born on November 3, 1953, to Sandra Sue Kelso and Hugh Mercer Kelso. He attended Charles Page High School where he graduated in 1972. Afterwards he studied agriculture at Oklahoma State University where he cultivated his skills and developed his love for farming. He maintained a successful pig farm, had an avid love for horses, was an active member of the POA, as well as the Sand Springs Round Up Club, and enjoyed roaming the country on his many Harley Davidsons. He spent the majority of his adult life working at Baker Hughes and eventually retired from there in 2017. Upon retirement, his days were occupied by adventures with his children and grandchildren, eating delicious foods, and relaxing in his recliner. He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his brother, children, and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his childlike sense of humor, his love for animals, and his consistent generosity.
