Troy Keith Best, lovingly known as "Brillo," passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on December 3, 1950, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Troy and Mary Best, Keith grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma, before graduating from Derby High School in Derby, Kansas.

Keith dedicated much of his professional life to the construction industry, working many years with Ellsworth Construction, where he took pride in his work laying asphalt. He was known for his strong work ethic and quiet dependability.

On June 29, 2000, Keith married the love of his life, Lynne (Lambreth) Best. Together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, companionship, and a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Keith had a passion for fishing and pheasant hunting. Although his declining eyesight prevented him from fishing in later years, he and Lynne always kept their gear ready, in case they were able to make a trip to the water.

Keith was a humble, kind, and straightforward man who valued family, nature, and the satisfaction of a job well done. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Mary Best.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne Best; his son, Bruce Smith and wife Amber; his daughter, Angela Sellars; his grandchildren, Emily Smith, Josh Smith, and Sarah-Lynne Smith; and his great-grandson, Jaylen LaCore.

Keith will be remembered for his gentle spirit, enduring love for his family, and a life lived with quiet strength and grace. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
