Wade Alan McCrackin, 55, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away on July 21, 2025.
Born in Tulsa on September 27, 1969, Wade was the son of Sheila McCrackin and the late Lloyd McCrackin. He was known for his adventurous spirit, infectious sense of humor, and love for life.
Wade had a passion for traveling the world, trying new foods, and embracing different cultures. That passion led him to a successful career as a chef, earning respect and admiration throughout the Tulsa and Oklahoma City restaurant scenes. He was known for his creativity in the kitchen, always experimenting with recipes and creating memorable meals for friends, family, and guests alike. Outside the kitchen, Wade was a man of many interests. He loved playing the guitar, collecting unique items, painting, and spending weekends exploring thrift stores and antique shops. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd McCrackin; paternal grandparents T.O. and Ruby McCrackin; maternal grandparents Clarence and Albertine "Boots" Miller; aunts Mary McCage and Wilma Cochran; and uncle Kenneth McCrackin.
We will remember Wade for his passion and the unique perspective he brought to every situation. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
