Wanda June
Davis
Apr 6, 1949 — Apr 11, 2025
Sand Springs
Wanda June Davis entered her heavenly home on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 76, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been lovingly entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Wanda was born on April 6, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Benjamin Weeks and Zelphia (Copeland) Weeks. She was raised in Tulsa and attended Will Rogers High School. Wanda's life took a beautiful turn when, while attending a Chuck Berry concert, she met the love of her life, Joe Allen Davis. It was love at first sight. The two were married on November 19, 1965, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, and built their life together in Tulsa before eventually settling in Sand Springs.
Wanda lived a life of service, both professionally and personally. She worked as a truck driver, operating armored trucks, but her heart was with her family. She spent many years working alongside her brothers at the family business, Weeks Produce Stand. Later, she devoted herself fully to caring for her husband and raising their sons—roles she embraced with grace and love. She was a great mom, always putting her family first.
Wanda was a woman of many talents and passions. She was a gifted artist who found joy in drawing and sketching. She also loved to read, cook, and journal—capturing her thoughts and stories in her own beautiful way. Above all, she was a loving, caring, and selfless soul with a heart full of compassion. Her faith was central to her life; she was a devout Christian who loved the Lord deeply.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, in 2021; her parents; and her siblings: Louis Weeks, Curtis Weeks, Danny Weeks, Betty Burma, Eunice Lockston, and David Weeks.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her sons: Joe Davis, Jr. and wife Jennifer Collins-Davis; Tim Davis and wife Paige Voyles of Broken Arrow; Chris Davis of Sand Springs; and Clay Davis and wife Kyla Arney of Skiatook. Wanda was blessed with a large and loving family that includes her grandchildren: Amber Jean Owens, Kevin Davis, Aiden Davis, Mason Davis, Tyler Davis and wife Chloe Hill, Casey Bales, Aireanna McDaniel and husband Seth, Isaac Davis, Chyanne Davis, Jakob Davis, Jayson Collins, Morgan Dockray and husband Justin, Aaron Dockray, and Edward Wallace. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Malakai Luka Davis, Olivia Rain Davis, Joshua Owens, Noah Owens, Lucas Owens, Jayden Davis, Braxten Davis, Scarlett McDaniel, and Hazel Davis.
A funeral service celebrating Wanda's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Jim Groesbeck Memorial Chapel at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service. The service may be viewed live at https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/111716
