Wanda Marie (Morrow) Rutland – Feb. 27, 1940-Dec. 30, 2023.  Wanda died peacefully at home in Sapulpa just a few days after a wonderful Christmas holiday with her family. She is survived by her daughter Janet and husband Shelby Eicher of Sand Springs, grandsons Nathan and wife Tennille (Tulsa), Paul and wife Kirstan (Tulsa), Isaac and wife Marcela (Hermitage, TN) and 5 beautiful great grandchildren - Jesse 8, Elliot 6, Caleb 4, Alia 4 and Alexander 15 mo.

Wanda was the youngest child of Harley and Hazel Morrow and was born and raised in Bearden – a rural community a few miles south of Okemah, OK. Her older siblings are Harley Dean Morrow (deceased) of Bakersfield, CA, Hallo Jean Shults of Kingfisher, OK and Bobbie Joe Morrow of Shawnee, OK. Wanda met Lester Wayne Rutland at age 16 and they married shortly after. Les found work in Sand Springs, OK and they settled there. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage before Les passed away in November 2018.

Wanda worked at 4th National Bank and eventually retired from Anchor Gasoline in Tulsa. She and Les enjoyed their "farm" near Bristow where they spent many weekends with their grandsons raising cattle, fishing and spending quality time together. Wanda also enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting and trips to Washington DC with her grandsons as well as travel throughout the United States with Les.

Visitation is scheduled Thursday, Jan 4, 12 noon to 8 pm with the family greeting friends 5-7 pm at Mobley-Groesbeck and a graveside service will happen Friday, Jan 5, 11 am where she will be buried next to Les, in the Morse Cemetery Okemah, OK.
