Weldon James Brewer, Sr., 82 of Tulsa passed away at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

His services are entrusted to Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Weldon was born on November 23, 1940 in Tulsa to Jesse J. and Betty I. (Henderson) Brewer.  After graduation from Central High School, he married the love of his life, Mildred Lee Baker, and they celebrated 55 years of marriage before her passing in 2014. Weldon worked in construction his whole life, even up to a few weeks ago, alongside his son, Stephen as owner of Well-Done Tile & Formica. Weldon and his wife, Mildred were long time members of the Home Gardens Church of Christ for over 60 years. They enjoyed traveling across the country often during their life together. Weldon spent many seasons deer hunting with friends, loved sports including baseball and softball and logged many miles to cheer on his teams.

Survivors include two sons, Weldon "Jim" Jr. and wife Brenda, Stephen and his wife, Jill; daughter, Susan Bowen and her husband, Ted; brother Jesse Brewer and his wife, Lin of Arizona; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service in Sand Springs on Friday, January 6, from 6 pm to 8 pm and the funeral services at the Home Gardens Church of Christ on Saturday January 7 at 10 am with Dale Parker officiating.
