Burcham, William H., age 79  retired from the Railroad, U.S. Marine Veteran, passed away February 11, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

William Herbert Burcham was born on March 18, 1945 to Leo and Dalphna Burcham at Saint Johns Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. Bill was the second of three siblings. He attended grade school and high school in Sand Springs. Bill graduated from Charles Page High School in 1963. He received a full scholarship to Oklahoma University for wrestling. Bill went on to enlist in the Marines and Marine Reserves where he served our country for 7 years. His work career was with the railroad where he worked for 35 years.   Bill met Cecelia in the spring of 89'. They were married later that summer on July 21, 1989. Bill and Cecelia had over 36 wonderful years together. Bill had many things he was passionate about throughout his life. When his sons Brett and Shawn were young, Bill found so much joy in coaching them. Brett and Shawn were favorites on their home street because Bill always built the most elaborate snow forts. These forts were greatly used during the neighborhood snowball fights which could last all day. Bill also loved hunting, fishing, bowling, playing games, gardening, smoking meat and volunteering at Lake Church. Weekends, you could find him whipping the pontoon around on Keystone lake or frying up some beer batter catfish, that everyone could never get enough of. Bill loved life, especially trying to make everyone smile, from being ornery or telling funny jokes. Bill passed on Tuesday February 11, 2025 at 1:17am at the age of 79 with Cecelia by his side. Bill is preceded in death by parents Leo and Dalphna Burcham, sister Darlene Sheppard, brother in law Mark Sheppard, son Brett Burcham and grandson Shane Simms. As Bill enters into eternal life he leaves behind wife Cecelia Burcham, son Shawn Burcham, son in law Keith Branscum, step children Misty and Shawn Simms, Shonda Goss, Adam and Keylee Goss, brother Fred Burcham and wife Barbara Burcham, niece Jenny Cella and husband Kenny Cella, grandchildren Sloan Simms, Amber Eastman, Tyler Eastman, Brianna Sullivan, Dylan Storts, and Seth Simms and great grandchildren Saige Simms, Shiloh Simms, Zen Eastman, Bryor Sullivan, Blake Sullivan, Brooks Sullivan, and Carter Storts.
