William Doice Dover was born on September 26, 1931, in Big Flat, Arkansas, to Herbert and Merle Dover. His family later settled in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he grew up and graduated from Sand Springs High School in 1951.

Doice shared 73 years of devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Beverly (Hoyle) Dover. Together, they raised two sons: Richard Doice Dover of Frisco, Texas, and David Lloyd Dover of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was a proud grandfather to five granddaughters and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to his life.

Doice spent much of his career with Hoerner Box, later known as International Paper, where he worked faithfully for many years before retiring in 1994.

He passed away on June 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family.
