a legacy built on faith, family, hard work, and a creative spirit

Will Firey, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away from this life leaving behind a legacy built on faith, family, hard work, and a creative spirit.

Will grew up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, where he attended Pleasant Valley, Keystone, and Charles Page schools. Over the years, he also called San Angelo, Texas, and Sand Springs home.

A creative builder by nature, Will had a gift for working with his hands and creating things that would last. His work and talents were an important part of his life, but the legacy he leaves behind reaches far beyond anything he built. His influence can be seen in the lives of his family, his friends, and those throughout his community who had the privilege of knowing him.

Will was a man of deep faith and was passionate about his relationship with God. He attended New Covenant Bible Church, and his faith remained an important foundation throughout his life. He also enjoyed working outdoors and spending time doing the things that allowed him to use his hands and creativity.

Will's life was one of faith and purpose

Family was especially important to Will. He shared 56 years of marriage with his late wife, Gwendolyn Campbell Firey. He later married Theresa Firey, with whom he shared 6 years of marriage.

Will is survived by his wife, Theresa Firey of Sand Springs; his sons, Joe Firey and wife Carolyn, of Foley, Alabama, James Firey and wife Denise of Sand Springs, and Michael Firey and wife Leah of Owasso; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sister, Linda Alford; and his brothers, Steve Firey, John Firey, and Ray Firey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Firey; his parents, Kenneth and Sylvia Firey; and his brother, David Firey.

Those who knew Will remember a man whose life was centered on the things he valued most—his faith, his family, and the satisfaction of creating and building. The things he made with his hands may remain for years to come, but his greatest legacy will be the influence he had upon the people around him.

Will's life was one of faith and purpose, and his memory will continue to live on through the family he loved and the many lives he touched.
