William Donald "Bill" Thompson, 80, of Tulsa passed away on Wednesday December 22, 2021.  Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service, of Sand Springs has been asked to care for his services.

He was born to John Thomas and Susie (Williams) Thompson in Miami, OK on February 20, 1941.  His family lived in the Ottawa County area, where he grew up.  Bill worked as a Real Estate Appraiser, working for Oklahoma and Newport Appraisal Companies, before becoming an Independent Appraiser.  Bill married Donna Jean Mathis on January 19 ^th , 2002.  He was a man of strong faith, gentle, loving, kind and funny.  Family was very important to him.  He was known by many names; Sweetheart, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa, Gramps, That Bill, Billy Goat: but all these names mean just one thing—unconditional love.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; son, Paul David (Tami) Thompson; three daughters, Sabrina Lea (Troy) Thompson-Crawford; step-daughters, Carolyn (Brad) Null, Jeannine (Jeff) Ramsey; 12 grandchildren, Garret Thompson (USAF), Austin (Sami) Thompson (USAF), Jacob Thompson, Alex Crawford, Kennedy Crawford, Mallory (Cole) Blake, Izzy (Sarah) Cupps, Kayla (Hunter) Moore, Heather (Ben) Knight, Jamie Ramsey, Emily Ramsey, Ashley Ramsey; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Knight, Jaxsyn Knight, William Blake, and Ava Blake; and special niece, Lisa Russell.
