Wretha is survived by four sisters; Betty Louise Nowling, Ina Josephine McKenzie, Lucille Marie Lanham, Patricia Ann Banzhof; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Pearl; and two brothers, Loyd Aylor Lanham and Billy Gene Lanham.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service Chapel of Sand Springs, with Davie Neilson officiating.

Susie Q as she was affectionally called, was an amazing person with the best personality. She never seemed to meet a stranger and would welcome everyone with a huge smile and had the best hugs and a contagious laugh.  She somehow always remembered family, friends and co-workers birthdays and you could be assured you would receive a phone call with either her bursting into the Happy Birthday song or at least the best well wishes. She had a passion for dolphins, hummingbirds and dancing.

She was a generous kind soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family wishes to thank all their friends and extended family for their prayers, love and support during this most difficult time.  Friends may honor Wretha Sue Leatherwood with memorial contributions to Assistance League Tulsa www.altulsa.org
